The Blue Movement Demands Free and Independent Investigation
The BLUE MOVEMENT political platform Congo through its national president the Rev. Jean-Paul Moka Ngolo MPATI condemns in the strongest death by assassination Floribert Chebeya Bahizire. Indeed, the activist human rights and president of Voice of the NGO who had no voice was summoned to the General Inspectorate of Police on Tuesday 1 June 2010 at night before being found dead in morning of Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the outskirts of Kinshasa.
Like all other sentences, The Blue Movement demands of the international community and his friends that a free and independent investigation is being conducted to ensure that sponsors and executors of this heinous act be identified and brought to trial. The methods of intimidation against the opposition and advocacy organizations for human rights implementation in the DRC does not bode well for major political events coming soon in 2011 including the presidential elections for which the Blue Movement is in the running with its candidate Jean-Paul Moka Ngolo MPATI.
The people of Congo are called to stand up to weld as one man and decide his future tomorrow. The murderers and other exploiters of the people's misery will one day account for their misdeeds. Meanwhile, that justice be rendered to Floribert Chebeya Bahizire.
